There is little doubt that if it was not for each other, Paulina and Ivona Fialkova would have not made it this far in biathlon: the two Slovakian sisters shared a lifetime of moments together in and out of the sport, providing a great motivation to each other.

“Ivona opened my eyes in a moment when my focus was not on biathlon”, admitted the oldest of the two, while Ivona needed the opposite advice.

“Paulina told me to enjoy this life, because there is more than biathlon’s strict lifestyle.”

Almost like a Yin and a Yang, the two sisters complement each other in many aspects of their lives – one loves to cook, the other one visits her sister for a nice meal!
