The IBU Technical Committee held its annual meeting on 19-20 October 2023 in Munich, Germany, to overview the preparations for the upcoming season and discuss the most pressing topics, including the finalisation of the Fluor test protocol.

The Committee discussed the preparation status and the outlook for the upcoming season, agreed on the minor adjustments to the Event and Competition Rules, finalised the Fluor test protocol that is now set to be presented to the IBU Executive Board for the final approval and agreed on the venue license prolongations and new licenses allocations. The meeting concluded with discussions around the mid and long-term sport-technical developments.
