Biathlon For All - project continues to grow

The Biathlon for All project is set to expand, with the International Biathlon Union (IBU) announcing support for 15 National Federations in the 2024/2025 season. Among these are two new participating nations: Kazakhstan and Slovenia, bringing the total number of countries involved in the program to 44.

This expansion underscores the IBU's commitment to developing biathlon globally, offering equipment, resources, and support to foster growth in new regions. The addition of Kazakhstan and Slovenia marks an exciting opportunity to further engage young athletes and biathlon enthusiasts in these countries.

Promoting biathlon is a vital part of the IBU Target 30 strategy. This project aims to inspire and encourage kids and youths to practice biathlon by giving them sustainable, safe equipment and a comprehensive activities toolkit that can be used across the world. Through the 'Biathlon for All' program, IBU will assist National Federations by providing laser/optical rifle equipment (rifles, targets, supporters), and promotional materials and funds to help implement their strategy for recruiting and training kids and youths. In addition, in the 2024/2025 edition, IBU will launch the Biathlon for All website to promote the NF's activities and best practices exchange. This project will continue for an extended period.
