Men 10 km Sprint Competition

Germany’s Benedikt Doll shot clean in the prone stage and from that point, despite a standing penalty, went unchallenged to his second victory of the season taking the delayed-by-one-day Oberhof Men’s 10 km Sprint in 24:12.2. This morning’s win in slow slushy conditions, three weeks after winning the Lenzerheide sprint, marked the first time Doll claimed more than one victory in the same season over his 11-year BMW IBU World Cup career.

The first trimester of the 2023/24 BMW IBU World Cup season was a mixed bag for the usually ultra-competitive French team; the men struggled to find footing in individual competitions while the women celebrated atop the podium.
