After a record-breaking season in reach, video views and engagements across the IBU’s social media channels, we are looking to increase our pool of Camera Operators during the 2024-2025 Biathlon Season.
The freelancing positions are part of the IBU Communications Department – you will be working as part of the wider freelancing team in the winter months.
Your Tasks:
Join the IBU Content Team on-site at several events throughout the 2024-2025 season (November-March)
As part of the team, you’ll produce video content as per the IBU’s Content Strategy and Schedule for its own platforms and its stakeholders (ranging from social media platforms to raw material for TV broadcasters)
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience using Sony cameras and comprehensive knowledge of lighting with 3 lights and sound recording
Experience using the Adobe Suite (Adobe Premiere, Adobe AE)
Ability to film independently according to content guidelines
Situations must be captured and filmed in such a way that they are almost ready for broadcasting > Focus, colour, pans/tilts must be correct
Have an eye for what makes good content for various IBU stakeholders (federations, sponsors, broadcasters)
professional liability insurance is a prerequisite
EU drone license A1/3, A2 and own drone would be preferable
Be a good team player and know how to structure your work in busy environments at sports events
