The IBU Regional Events continue to bring thrilling competitions to biathlon fans around the world. Recently, two events took place in Haanja, Estonia, and Osrblie, Slovakia, showcased the talent and determination of athletes from across Europe.
From January 19 to 21, 2024, Haanja in Estonia hosted the Baltic Biathlon Cup, drawing over 120 participants from Estonia, Finland, Latvia, and Lithuania. Despite challenging weather conditions, with heavy snowfall on the first day causing additional efforts at the range, the event was a success. The sun emerged on the second day, illuminating the event with a beautiful backdrop. Participants and organizers alike were pleased with the organization and the positive atmosphere throughout the competitions. The event saw an increase in participants compared to last year, marking a significant achievement for the organizing team.
Full Results of the Baltic Biathlon Cup hereThe Central European Cup took place in Osrblie, Slovakia, from February 2 to 4, 2024, welcoming over 160 athletes from Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Ukraine. This event, too, was hailed as a success, with the number of participating countries increasing from the previous year. All competitions proceeded smoothly, thanks to the well-organized efforts of the event team.
