Digital Media & Marketing Update (9 November 2023) opened with the Communications Director Christian Winkler and Head of Digital Denfeld giving an update on the performance of IBU-owned and IBU-operated platforms and channels, including Key Performance Indicators for the 2023/2024 season. More than 40 content creators and digital media experts also received insight on the summer developments at the IBU-owned platforms and digital marketing developments.
Senior Project Manager Riikka Rakic and Mario Leo from the platform Result (specialising in digital media in sports, including marketing, monitoring, and monetisation) recapped NFs Digital Reach Performance Bonus for the 2022/2023, revealed the changes for the 2023/2024 and explained the process of reporting against the criteria for the current winter.
Digital & Media Marketing Update concluded with the presentation by the IBU partner agency Two Circles. After the biathlon-specific content lessons on the IBU-created content created in the 2022/2023 season, Two Circles highlighted general trends in Social Media, showcased the best practices from the world of sports, and offered recommendations for 2023/2024.
Biathlon Content Hub Update
Biathlon Content Hub Update (16 November 2023) updated the participants on user feedback from the debut season, offered onboarding for Biathlon Content Hub 2.0, and gave showcase tutorials. The participants also received IBU Media rights guidelines to avoid any infringements.
