Suvi Minkkinen (FIN) started the season with a bang as she took her first solo podium in the sprint in front of the home crowd. Sprint really was her forte this season as she also won bronze in the World Championships and came in third in the Holmenkollen sprint. She also won her first World Cup competition with Tero Seppala in Oberhof's Single mixed relay. Jeanne Richard (FRA) also had her first solo podium this season in the World Cup as she came in third in the mass start in Ruhpolding. The young French also made her way to the flower ceremony eight times this season.
Milena Todorova (BUL) really stepped into the limelight in Oberhof as she took her first World Cup podium and came in third in the sprint. She continued her good performances in Lenzerheide with a fifth place in mass start. Her career-best came in Pokljuka as she shot clean in the mass start and crossed the finish line second. Selina Grotian (GER) has been winning in the juniors, and now it was her time to win in the World Cup. She gave herself the best pre-Christmas present as she won the last race of the year 2024 in Annecy. We also saw her on the podium in Antholz Anterselva as she was second in the sprint.
