What a fantastic week in the Bavarian mountains! Ruhpolding did not disappoint yet again, as the stands were full of loud fans cheering for the athletes. We saw many personal bests as well as maiden podiums. Which one of these athletes deserves the Athlete of the Week title?

Vebjoern Soerum (NOR) finally took the highest podium as he shot clean and won the men's individual on Wednesday. On the same day we also saw a maiden podium of the youngest of the Claude brothers as Emilien Claude (FRA) came in second.

Women's individual on Thursday also offered lots of excitement and first individual podium for Swiss Amy Baserga showing off her form just in time for the home World Championships in Lenzerheide. On Sunday Tommaso Giacomel (ITA) took his career's first win with 20-out-of-20 shooting in the men's mass start.
