JT Boe Leads Norwegian Sweep in Oslo Sprint with Laegreid in second

After sitting out last weekend’s competitions with illness, Norway’s Johannes Thingnes Boe rebounded with a dominant clean-shooting 24:49.5 win in this afternoon’s Olso Holmenkollen Men’s 10 km Sprint. JT, in the final Sprint of his career led teammates Sturla Holm Laegreid, Johannes Dale-Skjevdal, Isak Frey and Vebjoern Soerum to a sweep of the top five places. Laegreid kept his healthy lead over JT in the World Cup Total Score Standings.

Final Countdown to the Crystal Globes

The final countdown is ticking in the battle for World Cup Total Score supremacy and the accompanying big Crystal Globes. After this weekend’s Oslo Holmenkollen Sprint, Pursuit, and Mass Start, one man and woman will hold the precious trophy. Franziska Preuss and Lou Jeanmonnot will battle for the women's title, whilst Johannes Thingnes Boe and Sturla Holm Laegreid will fight for the men's.
