Para Biathlon Calendar and Results

The IBU is proud to announce the Para Biathlon calendar for the upcoming season 2024-2025. The IBU Para Biathlon World Cup will begin in December in Vuokatti (FIN) and conclude in Torsby (SWE) in March. The IBU Para Biathlon World Championships will take place in February in Pokljuka (SLO). It is the first Para Biathlon season that is fully managed by the IBU.

The IBU Para Biathlon season 2024-2025 will feature a total of four stages with new Para Biathlon and experienced Biathlon venues welcoming the best athletes in the world.

The season will begin 10-15 December 2024 in Vuokatti (FIN), an experienced Para Nordic hosted and renowned training venue thanks to its great snow conditions in early winter.
The second competition week will take place in Val Di Fiemme (ITA) from 27-30 January 2025, and it will also serve as the Paralympic Test event for Milano Cortina 2026. Val Di Fiemme, a well-known Nordic Skiing location, will host the Para Biathlon and Para Cross-Country competitions of the Paralympic Winter Games 2026 and next year's IBU Para Biathlon World Cup stage will lay the groundwork for the successful delivery of the 2025-2026 season highlight.
Pokljuka is a familiar venue for Biathlon fans - in the coming season, it will debut as a Para Biathlon host, staging the IBU Para Biathlon World Championships from 04-09 February 2025.
The season concludes in Torsby (SWE), with the IBU Para Biathlon World Cup Finals set to take place 06-11 March 2025. Torsby is well known for its ski tunnel and thanks to the great cooperation with the Swedish Biathlon Federation, it will make its debut as Para Biathlon venue next year.

After jointly managing Para Biathlon together with the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) throughout the past two seasons, this is the first season that is fully managed by the IBU. During the creation of the calendar, great emphasis has been put on coordinating Para Biathlon and Para Cross-Country with FIS to ensure the best possible opportunities for the Para Nordic Skiing athletes to compete in all World Cup and World Championship competitions across Para Biathlon and Para Cross-Country.
