Can I drive to the stadium?
No. There is no parking available at the Chiemgau Arena. Please use the shuttle buses and public transportation. Click on this link for additional information
May I bring a Thermos into the stadium?
Yes. Thermos bottles made of plastic and metal are permitted. For detailed information see the Stadium Regulations.
Are the shuttle buses free?
Yes, the shuttle buses from Ruhpolding and Inzell are free. The Reit im Winkl shuttle bus is feebased.
Where do the medal ceremonies take place?
The medal ceremonies take place in the stadium right after the completion of the competitions.
Where can I park my car?
Parking is available in Ruhpolding and Inzell as well as at the train stations in Traunstein, Siegsdorf and Waging. Signposts point the way to the parking lots.
Is it better to park in Inzell or in Ruhpolding?
That depends on where you are coming from. If you are arriving from Salzburg or Berchtesgaden and Bad Reichenhall, we recommend that you park in Inzell. Parking in Ruhpolding may be more practical if you are arriving from Munich or Traunstein, but you can also drive on and park in Inzell.
Can I bring my backpack to the stadium?
Yes, you may bring your backpack - but your backpack will be searched for prohibited items when you enter the venue; for more information please take a look at our stadium regulations.
May I take beverages into the stadium, and if so, how much?
Yes, some beverages are allowed, but you must abide by the stadium regulations regarding contents and quantity: Glass containers, glass bottles, aluminium bottles, cans, glasses and pitchers of all sizes are prohibited! Plastic bottles may hold a maximum of 1 litre and have to be originally closed Tetra packs may not exceed 1 litre and have to be originally closed Metal or glass flasks are not permitted Containers brought into the stadium may not contain alcohol or any other intoxicating substances
Can tickets be returned?
No, tickets cannot be returned. This is stated in our General Terms and Conditions. You can of course, sell any tickets you do not need - for example it is possible to write it on our Facebook Page for reaching other biathlon fans.
Where are the wheelchair designated places in the stands?
The wheelchair area is located in Block A.
Where are lost and found items stored?
During the World Cup week lost and found items can be picked up at the cash desk close to the main stadium entrance. After the Biathlon World Cup, lost and found items are collected, stored and handed over at the official lost and found office at the Tourist Information.
