Biathlon fans are loud! From the stands behind the shooting range to the side of the tracks, you can hear the roar of the crowds. However, we wanted to find out who is the loudest team member. Is the it wax technician yelling the time from the side of the track or is it one of the athletes?
Team Sweden: Martin Ponsiluoma
"Martin tends to make these pretty loud sounds and usually sings random songs a lot too. Also, you can hear him sneezing like from three rooms away. So if you are hearing someone making loud random noises it is usually Martin!" (Elvira Oeberg)
Team Switzerland: Kein Einaste
"Kein Einaste just screams very loud when he cheers for us. And at the same time it is not so easy to understand and hear his exact words. But definitely he is the loudest around and I am always looking forward to ski past him." (Aita Gasparin)
Team Finland: Venla Lehtonen
"When you meassure with decibels it is definitely Venla! You can for sure hear her before you see her!" (Jaakko Ranta)
"I think you need so consult Venla herself about this but she cannot be quiet anywhere! Explaining and her laughter cannot be heard from miles away even if you cannot see the girl. Maybe she just doesn't know how to control her volume when she gets excited đ" (Olli Hiidensalo)
"It could be the fact that I am from the Southern Karelia that makes me quite talkative." (Venla Lehtonen)
Team USA: Campbell Wright and Vincent Bonnaci
"Campbell's accent can carry across a room with very little effort. And if Vincent is excited, you can be on the other side of the range and you will know!" (Vaclav Cervenka)
Team Ukraine: "Good morning" -guys
"Dmytro Pidruchnyi and Taras Lesiuk for sure! They always wake up before me so I am forced to wake up with their time and listen to their alarm or morning routine. Sometimes they ask me if I woke up already or not! But I got used to it already and it is normal by now." (Vitalii Mandzyn)
Team Poland: Marcin Zawol
"Marcin Zawol is the loudest in the team. It is in his nature that he is very loud. He loves to sing and rap, loudly! He also has the loudest laugh in the group." (Badacz Konrad)
