France and Germany win in the Mixed Relays in Otepaa

Germany in the Mixed Relays and France in the Single Mixed Relays are the winners on the last day of the season that also saw Norway win the IBU Cup Nations Score and IBU Cup Relays Score.

Spark anchors Germany to a win

Germany (R. Rees, S. Kaiser, S. Scherer, L. Spark) claimed victory in the Mixed Relay at the IBU Cup, finishing with a time of 1:07:17.4. The German team displayed strong shooting efficiency, using only six spare rounds, avoiding penalty loops and using six penalty loops from the Norwegian women to their advantage. France (D. Levet, G. Paturel, C. Henaff, P. Botet) secured second place, trailing by 49.9 seconds, despite struggling with 14 spare rounds and two penalty loops. Norway (S. G. Bakken, J. O. Bakken, K. Erdal, J. Arnekleiv) - in the lead until the last shooting - completed the podium in third, finishing 1:10.4 behind the winners.

Guigonnat stars in the Single Mixed Relays

France (T. Guiraud, G. Guigonnat) secured victory in the Single Mixed Relay with a time of 38:42.4. The French duo skied two penalty loops and used five spare rounds. Germany (L. Fratzscher, A. Weidel) finished in second place, 42 seconds behind, despite struggling with shooting, requiring 12 spare rounds and one penalty loop. Norway (S. D. Aspenes, G. Randby) completed the podium in third, trailing by 58.9 seconds, but faced significant shooting difficulties, using 14 spare rounds and incurring three penalty loops.
