The summer biathlon season has officially concluded with five successful Regional Events, marking the end of an exciting series of competitions. Each event attracted athletes from multiple nations, with some recording increased participation compared to previous years.
Regional Event - Summer Balkan Cup | Sjenica, Serbia (14-15.09.2024)
The last stage of Summer Biathlon Balkan Cup saw over 40 participants from six nations: Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, Moldova, and North Macedonia. The competition featured strong performances and a well-organized event.

Over 300 athletes from France, Switzerland, Belgium, and Great Britain competed in good weather conditions, except for some rain on Sunday. The event featured short sprints, individual, and pursuit competitions. It was a fantastic opportunity for younger athletes to compete alongside top French and Swiss biathletes.

This event combined the Regional Event with the Polish National Championships attracting over 100 participants from Poland, Czechia, and Ukraine. The competition was highly regarded, offering great performances from athletes across all categories.

The event was held at the Soldier Hollow Nordic Center during the annual Fall Festival. Over 110 athletes from the USA, Canada, and Finland participated in sprint races on Friday and mass starts on Saturday. The event was a highlight of the North American biathlon summer calendar, bringing exciting races over the weekend.

The final Regional Event of the summer in Arcon, France also included the French National Championships for Senior Men & Women in Sprint & Pursuit categories. About 400 participants from France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Great Britain, and Finland competed. The event was held under perfect weather conditions, attracting a large and enthusiastic crowd. The Florence Baverel biathlon venue hosted competitions for categories from U17 Youths to Senior classes, with 75 athletes from 6 foreign National Federations. National titles were awarded for Sprint & Pursuit in the Senior class, offering a great show to audience.
Full results of Regional Event, Arcon, FRAThe summer biathlon season wrapped up with 14 successful events, attracting over 1,800 youth and junior participants from 25 nations. These great events showcased strong international participation and provided exciting competition across the board.
