THE WINNER’S WORDS - SVERRE DAHLEN ASPENES

I am really pleased with the way things are developing for me this season. To qualify for the Norwegian IBU Cup team is difficult. To open the season with a win on top gives me confidence for the days and weeks ahead. I would like to break through into the World Cup team at some stage.

Aspenes' strong skiing set him apart, while Uldal capitalised on consistent speed and shooting to claim the second spot. Guigonnat’s clean shooting kept him competitive, highlighting the importance of accuracy in this tightly contested race. THE WINNER’S WORDS - PAULA BOTET

After last season’s troubles with my leg, I am relieved and happy to open season with no pain and with a win. After I saw Chloe’s (Chevalier) race I thought no one can beat her. My skis were perfect!

Botet's perfect shooting and strong skiing set her apart, while Chevalier demonstrated consistency to lock in the runner-up spot. Weidel’s solid performance kept her in contention despite the single miss. Johanna Skottheim of Sweden, Karoline Erdal, and Marit Ishol Skogan, both from Norway, completed the flowers podium.
