Im Biathlonfeld der Männer gab es viele neue Gesichter an der Spitze. Diese vier Männer haben keinen Zweifel daran gelassen, dass sie bereit sind, die Biathlonwelt zu erobern. Welcher von ihnen ist Ihr Newcomer der Saison 2024-2025?

Das Beste am Biathlon ist, dass immer wieder neue Athleten an die Spitze kommen! In dieser Saison gab es viele Newcomer, die sich in die Geschichtsbücher eingetragen haben. Aber welche dieser vier Frauen verdient den Titel Newcomerin der Saison 2024-2025?

Einen Monat ist es nun her, dass Tarjei und Johannes Thinges Bö sich aus dem Biathlonsport verabschiedet haben. In fast 20 Jahren schrieben sie unvergleichliche Sportgeschichte. Beide betraten die internationale Biathlon-Bühne als IBU-Weltmeister (in verschiedenen Jahren), und beide zogen am 23. März den Schlussstrich unter ihre Karriere.

The Boe Brothers have together won six Total Score titles, 18 Discipline Cup Score titles, collected 106 individual wins in the World Cup and at the World Championships and Olympic Winter Games, won 70 medals at the World Championships - 35 were gold medals, and 14 medals at the Olympic Winter Games - 8 were gold medals.

Franziska Preuß hat gerade die beste Saison ihrer Karriere abgeliefert und einen Winter hinter sich, auf den Fans und sie selbst jahrelang gehofft hatten. In der Saison 2024/25 beeindruckte die DSV-Athletin vor allem mit ihrer Konstanz, die sie bis zum Saisonfinale in Oslo am Holmenkollen aufrechterhielt, wo sie zwei Siege feierte und neben zwei Disziplinwertungen auch die Große Kristallkugel für den Gewinn des Gesamtweltcups mit nach Hause nahm.

It has become one of the most beloved traditions, now it's set to become the newest classification in the Biathlon World Cup. The Silver Bib is set to be a season-long feature - the best athlete in the Total Score at the age of 33 or older will be wearing silver in the upcoming World Cup season.
